Berenberg, one of Germany’s oldest private bank, has a rich history spanning centuries. To better reflect its modern identity as a dynamic, innovative, and globally-focused company, it was time to refresh their brand.
While the bank is agile and entrepreneurial on the inside, its external image felt traditional and outdated. The new brand aims to close this gap, honoring its heritage while embracing a bold, forward-thinking future. To bring this vision to life, the design concept was built around the idea of the “Pulse of Progress". This central motif serves as a visual and conceptual representation of Berenberg’s forward, innovation, and collaborative approach
The existing logo was refined to achieve a modern yet timeless look, bridging tradition and innovation. While the signature orange remains a cornerstone of the brand, it has been complemented by a contemporary palette that adds depth and vibrancy.A renewed focus on people and projects highlights collaboration, personality, and high-quality execution, making the brand feel approachable and human.
